Career Bio

 

I began his career as a qualified fabricator welder, working on Royal Navy vessels and commercial cruise liners. I swiftly gained contracts as a fabricator welder throughout the UK. Always eager to learn new things, I gravitated towards pipe fitting, welding, and other engineering skills. Before long, he had built up a diverse, skilled, and adaptable portfolio of expertise.

After a few years contracting in the welding and pipe fitting industry, my skills came to the attention of a prototype power station in the South-West. and i took the contract offered, and helped to develop the new technology needed to get this station operational. During this time, i learned that he liked the field of electronics, and resolved to learn more.

​

I went back to college, determined to become an electrician. Having completed his vocational course and worked around the UK as an electrician, he furthered himself with a degree in electrical and electronic engineering. I was eagerly snapped up at graduation by an electronic design engineering company, and the rest is history. Head-hunt followed head-hunt, and I now runs his own company www.maskcontrols.com, undertaking highly skilled engineering work of all kinds worldwide.

My diverse background in manufacturing and all kinds of engineering makes me uniquely able to understand mechanical and/or engineering problems from every angle. Unlike many contractors, who are experts only in one specific field, My experience lends him a big-picture view of the entire system.
